That’s right, I didn’t introduce myself! \ud83d\ude09<\/p> \n \n

I’m Lionel. I am 38 years old, married and have two children. I was born in the Vercors and I have been living in Sisteron in Haute-Provence for the last ten years.<\/p> \n \n

A long time ago, when I was a child, my cousins used to distill lavender at the Foire des Battages in the small Dr\u00f4me village of Beaufort\/Gervanne. I kept the scent of lavender coming out of the still deep inside me (a bit like Proust and his Madeleine, you know?)<\/p> \n \n

And then time passed, the lavender fields evoked for me the South, Provence, the bees and the cicadas, a summer scent what? like you, isn’t it?<\/p> \n \n

I fell in love with lavender when I was… big! <\/strong><\/p> \nLionel, blogger Routes of Lavender <\/cite><\/blockquote> \n \n

And then, a little more than 10 years ago, the sequence of my professional life (turned towards the development of tourism and territories) led me to take in hand the animation of a group of companies gathered around the Routes of Lavender<\/a> within the association Grande Travers\u00e9e des Alpes (GTA).<\/p> \n \n

By rediscovering the perfume of my childhood at the bend of a distillery, I discovered a fascinating universe, with passionate people, who cultivate a noble product and who are proud to make discover it to those who are curious to understand “how it works”.<\/p> \n \n

Since then, I have had the chance to contribute to many projects, be they cultural, event-related, promotional or photographic, in order to highlight lavender and the men and women who make it live.<\/p> \n \n

And when last year the GTA had to close its doors, I naturally took over the animation of the Routes of Lavender, by passion and by desire to continue a beautiful human adventure with producers and transformers of the “blue gold of Provence”.<\/p> \n \n

I am very happy to share my passion with you through the pages of this website and social networks(Facebook<\/a>, Instagram<\/a>). I have many ideas and projects around lavender, including planting a field with my family (an adventure you will be able to follow on this site from 2021).<\/p> \n \n
